The Mary Glasgow Language Trust is a UK Charity, setup in 1978 which promotes the learning of foreign languages in the UK. ProAction Networks worked closely with the trust to redevelop their existing frames and tables based website whilst this original site remained live. Working with various members of the Trust, Proaction Networks helped develop a new framework, menu structure and colour scheme with constant development input between the two parties.
We helped rebuild the lo-resolution Logos and incorporate a wide range of promotional photographs into the website. The website successfully went live on time and on budget, and was subsequently extended and prefaced with an Adobe Flash introduction in the Autumn of 2008.
The website continues to grow and provide information regarding the charity’s work and forthcoming events.

Amongst the overall design – which evolved from the initial blueprint provided by 1st Rate, ProAction Networks implemented a “Postcode Checker” which confirmed to the visitor that 1st Rate did indeed cover their area, and Search Engine Optimisation to help 1st Rate’s visibility within Search Engines.

Protocol Power approached ProAction Networks in March 2009 with a view to revamping their old website and moving to a better, faster web host. In addition to this primary reason, there was a need for a revamp in order to compete with increase online competition for their type of product and improve their email system. Protocol Power had identified that they needed to better display, advertise and promote their products via an online catalogue and it’s status within Search Engines such as Google and MSN Search.
Additionally, Protocol Power suffered from an overwhelming amount of spam to their company email addresses – caused by the design of their old site. ProAction Networks helped Protocol Power reduce spam to their email addresses by use of a PHP contact form, and Protocol Power are now able to add news and update sections of the website themselves via a friendly user interface.
Protocol Power’s website is based on a Content Management System. With a user-friendly and secure web interface, Protocol Power are able to update their catalogue from anywhere in the world, and ensure they do not have to rely on a 3rd party to keep their website up to date.

This was to be achieved within an online catalogue, controlled by a Content Management System. The website was developed with a friendly administration interface, enabling the owners to logon via their web browser and add/change/delete content within the site instantly.
